On to Business..
Hello Good People! I am sad to say that there is still no news of our Bears.. It has been over two weeks since our Bears became lost.
We thought it might be good to put up some flyers in Chinatown, as this was an area we hadn’t covered yet. Our good friends Thomas and Sharon translated our flyer for us, and we went to work! We covered all the major intersections and posted near the most popular restaurants. We got some quizzical looks, but that did not deter us! It was a beautiful sunny day. The sound of people playing Mahjong floated down from a window up above us. Our creative minds went to work…
What else can we do? How can we better involve the good people who care about our Bears return? As we have mentioned, our Bears love to travel. Instead of thinking of them as lost, we are trying to think of them as being on holiday! Perhaps they are cruising the casinos of Monte Carlo (#1 has a Pachinko problem), filling up at the all you can eat buffet! Or maybe they are back in their home town of Osaka looking for the best Okonomiyaki. Maybe they are in New York taking in some Broadway shows! Wherever they are we miss them.
We thought it might be both fun and useful (you never know!) to make a new flyer, and to translate it into multiple languages. People can download it and post it somewhere in their town! This way, no matter where the Bears are, they will be traveling the world- which is what they love the most. If you take a picture of the posted Bear flyer (you can be in the picture too!) and tell us where you are located, we will post it in a special gallery we are making for these photos! You can email these pictures to: firstname.lastname@example.org
We have created a new “Downloads” page that has flyers in English, Japanese and Chinese so far.. If you would like us to make a flyer in your language, please submit us a translation of our English flyer through the Contact page on the site. Again, thank you all for your enduring support. We, and the Bears are ever grateful…
Here is a short video we made yesterday to hopefully inspire:
