Hot off the press!!!

I just got an email from the good folks over at KTVU Channel 2; they will be running a story about our lost Bears tonight on the 6:00 news!! If anyone out there has the technology to record it and put it on youtube that would be an enormous help to us. Let’s cross our fingers and hope that these Bears make it home!

Have you check with security of the complex to see if they have security video cameras footage of the parking lot? Might get lucky and see who picked up your bears. Good Luck!

I made and collect teddy bears and understand how dear they are. Though on the other side of the globe, I posted the news on facebook and hope some how it helps.
Hope your babies will be home soon.
    Best wishes,

I just saw your bears’ story on Ch. 7 — and your website reminds me so much of my own bears I just had to share our story: Back when Bromley was an Only Bear and we went on vacation to San Diego, he apparently got caught up in the maelstrom of Daily Maid Service and went on an adventure that ended in the laundry chute. We didn’t know where he had run off to. He was missing for nearly 24 hours. We were desperate to find him and asked all the hotel workers (most of whom thought we were nuts) until one guy investigated and returned Bromley to us! We cried with happiness, and left $500 reward for the kind soul who returned him (and we would have paid so much more for his safe return!). Anyway, the moral of the story is that bears always find their way back home, have faith!

Nice! I’m happy that Bromley found his way home! Our Bears have been gone a week, but I have faith they will find their way home soon. Thanks for sharing your positive Bear story! :)

    Hey Annei,
Thank you for the good wishes, and thank you for posting on your Facebook! It may be the very help that finds our Bears-you never know. They say 6 degrees of separation…

The Bears were actually dropped in the theatre lobby… The security camera idea is an excellent one though, I hadn’t thought of that… That footage would help a lot. -Tomorrows assignment!

I saw them running down my street with suitcases in hand… looking over their shoulders, giggling all the while.
