Hello good people! It has been a busy week down here at Bear central.. We are putting the finishing touches on the latest Bear #1 and Bear #2 video, and it should be ready for the next post! Working on it has been really fun with Bear #3 around. She is so curious about everything and loves seeing the movies we have made with her big brother and sister. She is still really shy though.. Sometimes we catch her trying to learn the dance moves from the videos, but then she gets embarrassed and runs off and hides! That’s ok, I understand completely- you won’t catch me dancing when people with cameras are around ;).
The Bear Blog has had a lot of exposure recently thanks to the great post by the people over at Gigazine. Thanks Gigazine!!! Bears love you :)!
As you can probably tell from the previous posts, Bear #1 and Bear #2 were part of our daily lives. We took them with us wherever we went. This was great, but ultimately led to our Bears going missing . When Bear #3 came into our lives, I could tell we were both very cautious about taking her out with us. I found myself checking constantly to make sure I still had her, or inwardly cautioning myself as I walked down the street to watch for pickpockets as they might come and snatch Bear #3! As a semi protective measure, we got Bear #3 a special pouch to travel in. It is easier to keep track of, and protects her from getting dirty too (less Bear baths required!)..
As I mentioned in a previous post, Bear #3 likes to sit on the piano while I am playing. It is hard to tell what she is thinking, but she occasionally giggles and occasionally growls. At first I thought she didn’t like the music when she growled, but the growl is usually followed by a giggle… Now I think she might be singing along! Whatever it may be, when I told her I was heading off to my piano lesson, she jumped into her Bear bag (a signal that she wants to come along) and we headed out..
When we got to my lesson at the Conservatory, I put her in a special spot on the piano so she could have a good view! My teacher thought I was a little crazy, but certainly he must know that already! To the backdrop of my piano music, Bear #3 waltzed her way around the room hopping and swaying in time. She can dance pretty good after all!
When the lesson was finished, we headed out into the sunny world where we joined up with my beautiful and wonderful girlfriend. We decided a celebratory feast was in order to commemorate both the arrival of spring and of Bear #3. We walked the sunny streets of San Francisco, chatting about life, music and Bears.. The late afternoon slowly turned into evening. We found a nice little restaurant that we all three could agree upon and celebrated life.
Of course, no post would be complete without a picture of our still absent Bear #1 and Bear #2.
We hope you sweet Bears are having a fancy feast tonight!!!
